Checklist for your wedding caterer

It is so important that your wedding caterer provides you with the wedding breakfast of your dreams, whether you want something low-key or formal, big or small.  So you should create a wedding checklist to ask your caterer.  This will help keep both of you on the same page and make sure everything runs smoothly.

So here is Con Gusto Catering's Checklist of 10 things you should ask your wedding caterer. 

1) Can they make the cuisine your looking to serve at your wedding.  Or, does the caterer have a certain specialty in a cuisine which you could make the most of.

2) Will they create a bespoke menu for your wedding day, so that every dish is exactly how you had imagined?

4) Can the wedding caterer arrange a tasting session so you can try the food before your big day?

5)Will they provide the cutlery, plates, glasses etc?

6) Can they provide you with wine to match the wedding breakfast meal?  Will they provide appertivos before the dining begins?

7) Will they provide the food you are looking to serve - ie formal, buffet, finger food or canapes?

8) Can you establish a budget with them?  How soon advance do you need to pay a deposit and what is the cancellation policy?

9) Can the caterer provide wedding cake - what flavours and designs are available?

10) Where can the food be prepared, discuss the venue kitchen facilities.
