Catering London 1 Ebury Square is an exciting new partnership with Con Gusto Catering and Harrods Estates. We have long been partnered with One, The Tower in Vauxhall and now we are expanding that relationship to Harrod's Belgravia property '1 Ebury Sqaure'. As a London caterer it is exciting to have this luxury catering partnership extended to such a prestigious building.
We will be providing the residents meet and greet Christmas party food. On the menu will be our chef's new sushi menu as well as other new seasonal winter warmers. We always enjoy the opportunity to showcase our new menus and to show residents what we have been working on.
Our sushi catering and luxury catering is representative of ourselves as a brand and gives a little insight into what we offer in terms of our private chef hire too.
We will be holding the Christmas party at the same time the Christmas lights are turned on in this beautiful building, as well as enjoying the flowing Harrod's champagne and of course enjoying the festive atmosphere.
A christmas party is not complete without canapés and nibbles, and we aim to be the star of the party, providing innovative party food ideas using fresh, seasonal ingredients put together my our michelin chefs.
Stay tuned to see pictures of our event and to hear about our new seasonal classics from our caterers London team!
Con Gusto Catering has been very busy with catering for private parties. We have had lots of requests for a popular service of ours - private chef hire. Private chef hire is ideal if you are hosting a dinner party and you would like to enjoy the evening with your guests while a michelin star chef creates some delights in the kitchen.
London if a very fast paced city so increasingly, people are turning to London caterers for a little help with dinner parties. It is always enjoyable spending the evening at home with either family or colleagues and by hiring a private chef it means that you don't need to worry about a thing. Our chefs create the menu, bring the ingredients to your house, cook on site, serve and then of course leave everything spotless. This leaves you with the precious commodity of time with your guests.
Our menus are bespoke every time, so if you have a favourite dish just let us know. Furthermore, if you are looking for something a little more glamorous like a tasting menu, our team of imaginative chefs will create a menu that will delight and inspire you. We offer wine pairing guides too to make sure that every small detail is absolutely perfect for your event. As a luxury caterers London, it a delight for us to host for big or small events and what ever your request is, please do not hesitate to ask.
Con Gusto Catering was proud to cater for Harrods Estates earlier in the week and to now be partnering with them.
In order for the residents to get to know each other better they organised a Residents Meet and Greet and worked with us to provide the finger food in one of their central London Harrods Estates.
We provided a mixture of delectable canapés which you can find here on our Finger Food Page as well as a selection of sushi. The residents enjoyed their evening very much and we are happy to say they were delighted with the food.
If you would like a similar luxury catering for your event, why not contact Dominique, the event manager you can see in the photo above who will help organise your event right through to the day itself.
We recently catered for an absolutely beautiful baby shower in Vauxhall Tower in London. It was a beautiful evening for the young mother to be and the evening was filled with games, laughing and of course lots of delicious food.
We decided together that for 20 guests it would be ideal to have a casual buffet lay out. This way it kept with the informal mood of the evening and people could pick and choose what they wanted.
At every party, there are always a couple of dishes which the guests adore and we have to refill more than others. On this occasion it was the 'King prawn tempura with aioli' and the Seared yellow fin tuna on a mango and coriander salad.'
There were beautiful cupcakes and of course a celebratory baby shower cake as the centrepiece on the table.
If you are holding a baby shower - why not give us a call and we can help you organise is - from the food to the games to the flowers. Give Dominique an email on email@example.com
There are a few delicious hand-made Christmas treats that are an absolute must to serve throughout December.
Because in December, it's not just the Christmas lunch on the big day itself that people look forward to and remember, but all the small little touches along the way which create that festive mood. In fact, the whole of December is an excellent excuse to indulge in gourmet festive treats!
1. Festive biscuits
A fantastic festive treat that you can bring to your house or office is festive biscuits. Baking some simple ginger biscuits in the form of Christmas trees and stars is such a small indulgence but really gets people into the spirit of things. They're also great hung on trees as a decoration.
We here at Con Gusto Catering have seen a fair few canape parties in our time, so we thought we might share our two cents about them, and our 5 tips for holding one yourself. Whether your holding a corporate party and need some delicious canapes or if your holding a private party in your home, canapes are the perfect way to make your guests feel at home, comfortable, and to add a little elegance to your event.
1.) Choose a selection of canapes to suit all tastes:
Don't just choose your favourite canapes, think about your guests and if there are children. It is usually best to choose a selection of vegetarian, fish and meat canapes so all tastes are catered for.
2.) Make sure you order enough:
Typically 5-6 canapes per person is just right. Canapes are designed to keep people happy at parties and to give something to nibble on before the main meal. If you order too few, your guests may be left feeling hungry, and if you order too many your guests may not have room for their meal later.
3.) Make sure you have something nice to drink with them:
Canapes are best served with a glass of prosecco or champagne, or a nice non-alcoholic beverage such as elderflower cordial. Whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic is really is important to provide your guests with something to drink first.
4. ) When to serve them?
Canapes are great served at the beginning of your event to make sure your guests feel comfortable and to get people talking. Usually 15 minutes after people have arrived is just right - it's probably best they have time to put down their coats before they start to enjoy your delicious canapes.
5.) Savoury or sweet?
Typically, savoury canapes are a sophisticated way to anticipate a later meal whereas if your event is just canapes and drinks, a selection of savoury and then sweet is desirable. Sweet canapes add a lovely extra touch to the end of an event and leave guests feeling satisfied
